Green Diplomat turns climate knowledge into climate governance, and equips the people who do the turning.
Our mission
Green Diplomat is an independent climate diplomacy initiative. We bridge science, diplomacy and policy to turn climate ambition into enforceable law.
Our story
The data exists. What is missing is the translation into law.
Every year the science grows sharper, and the law lags further behind. It is not, at heart, a gap in data; it is a gap in translation. Evidence does not become law on its own: someone has to carry it across.
Green Diplomat was founded in 2023 on a simple wager: that this carrying-across is a craft, and a craft can be taught. What began as one diplomat’s conviction is now a small, independent initiative organised around a single question.

The tracked set
The AI Policy Radar tracks climate instruments jurisdiction by jurisdiction, so our analysis stays close to where each decision is actually made. Explore the Radar.
Developing and emerging economies
Where ambition most often outruns drafting capacity. Academy and Green Paper work concentrates on closing the gap between a pledge and the statute that gives it force.
The multilateral process
