The Policy Drafting Fellowship

The Policy Drafting Fellowship is a six-month structured placement for practitioners seeking to develop their legislative drafting and policy analysis capabilities. Fellows are embedded with the Green Diplomat research team, assigned to analyze specific legislative texts, and guided through the drafting of policy briefs, shadow reports, and model legislative clauses for target jurisdictions.
The Fellowship is designed for practitioners transitioning from civil society to institutional roles, researchers seeking applied policy experience, and legal professionals specializing in environmental or energy law. Fellows receive a monthly stipend, access to Green Diplomat’s institutional network, and a co-authorship credit on research outputs produced during the placement.
